The son of a famous  racing father (Antonio) who died at the wheel of an Alfa Riomeo Grand Prix car, Alberto raced from the late 1930s to his tragic death in a testing accident at Monza in 1955 , during that time he won Ferrari's first two world title back-to-back and held the record for the longest winning streak in Grand Prix racing  for many years(still?).
