Ferrari Dino 156 'Sharknose' F1 driven by the late great Phil Hill in the 1962 British GP at Aintree.

Hill was world champion in 1961 and team leader Von Tripps was the most successful driver of the year but died in a tragic accident at the Italian GP within sight of the world title himself. Hill went on to race for ATS and Cooper in F1 after splitting with Ferrari but didn't regain the level of success he enjoyed in 1961 and after switching to sports car racing won the BOAC500 event in the revolutionary Chapparal with it's high aerodynamic wing...which really started a trend!

Hill retired in 1967 after this victory and for many years was a leading figure in the restoration of classic cars in the USA. He died in 2008 after several years of ill-health, a much missed and appreciated part of motor sport history.
