A mid-engine design inspired by the Grand Prix Auto-Union with clever suspension and attention to details. It caused a sensation when it set a New Hill Record at Shelsley Walsh on Saturday 11th June 1949, beating the ERA of Raymond Mays, who was 'Mr Shelsley' at the time.
