Privately published 140 page softback. One of a limited edition of 300.
Wonderfully affectionate biography of greatly missed  F1, F2, Indy 500, Can Am and sports car racer Jim Crawford who briefly reached the heights of the sport racing for JPS Lotus in F1 during 1975, enjoyed a long association with the charismatic Chevron marque in the lower formulae and survived numerous career knock-backs including a huge leg-breaking 230mph accident at the Indy 500 to return, a proper hero and track favourite, and still a front runner.
A highly popular figure on both sides of the Atlantic, who his mechanics, team bosses and many fans adored, this new book does him proud.

SIMON'S COMMENT: "I read my review copy at one sitting on the day it arrived .Just could not put it down! I remember Jim very well as a driver and always followed his career, and I'm so glad Kevin Guthrie has written such an excellent biography of a genuine racing hero. "
