Unusual black and white photo of Trevor Taylor in the Lotus 24 with which he won the 1962 Aintree 200. An amateur photo, so not as sharp as a professional one but a rather rare shot of Jim Clark's team mate in this car which was replaced very early in the season by the similar looking but much more advanced Lotus 25.

The 24 was a spaceframe and the 25 a revolutionary monocoque chassis which caused John Cooper to answer Colin Chapman's comment that the were essentially the same car (24s being sold to customers as, just-like-the-team-car) with the remark 'Oh yes, it's just the same but you've forgotton to put the bloody chassis in!'
