Very rare and much sought after sequal to INSIDE THE PADDOCK which both cover racing car transporters (trucks, converted coaches, vans, even trailers) used over many decades. Thearliest here are from the 1920s/30s era and the latest in the 1990s.
420 landscape format pages, 600 photos, most of which are previously unpublished and quite a lot came from our own archives , so we are quite fond of this book!
You see examples of this listed up around the £600 mark in some places However this book although in otherwise fine clean condition has the top outer corners on the cover are a little 'dinged' , the jacket also has a small (25mm?) closed rip at the lower front right hinge. (see image) . Minor edge and corner wear to jacket from a decade and more on the shelf. Not faded like quite a lot of them . It's being offered at more reasonable price.
