Owen John  of 'Autocar Magazine' was the Literary name of Owen Llewellyn who wrote some lovely Travel Books in the Pre and Post 1st WW1 era and used the services of his friend and artist L. Raven-Hill to illustrate those and this title, contains 83 illustrations including 30 art plates. The book covers his memories of the pioneer days in a very enjoyable and light manner, ably supported by the cartoons and caricatures of L.R-H This rare book is in very good condition, no jacket . Signed "R Jackson 1927" on the inside cover, would that be Robin Jackson, the famous tuners of Brooklands racing cars I wonder?
