Rare shot of the front wheel drive JAP engined DORCAS II which the Glegg brothers (Donald & Gordon) ran in 1932-33 .
The transmission was from a BSA FWD cycle car, the engine was a 981cc JAP tuned by Eric Fernihough.
This car ran twin front wheels, must have been a handful!
Seen here with Brooklands-spec silencers. It was run on the test hill and also at Shelsley Walsh. Did it actually race at Brooklands???
Rebuilt after 1933 into a 4WD version.
