The start of the 1935 Monaco Grand Prix in Monte Carlo which features a a grid dominated by the Mercedes W25s of Caracciola, Von Brauchitsch and Fagioli and behind them the Alfa Romeo Tip B P3 cars of Rene Dreyfus and Tazio Nuvolari, Brivio, Sommer, and Chiron.Fagioli won the race from Dreyfus.
The background is very different from today although the race starts in the same place it's now hemmed in by tower blocks of concerte and glass rather than the elegant original Monaco archetecture you see here.
