Bill was one of the founders of Ecurie Ecosse and the Ferrari was raced by him and David Murray, tended by Wilkie and garaged at Mercheston Mews... but entered uner a 'flag of covenience' by Scuderia Ambrosiana , possibly as it would earn better starting money that way than being entered by the fledgeling Ecosse team at the time?
