Atmospheric photo of the famous Ferrari 375 'Thinwall Special' F1 car entered by Tony Vandervall and driven by numerous famous drivers in British events in the early 50s.
This shot is a bit of a mystery. I Think it could be at Charterhall on September 1 1951, in which case it was entered for Reg Parnell and won the Formula Libre event. It's seen here with a mechanic getting out of the cockpit having backedit out of it's transporter - I have another photo showing the car being backed down the ramps a few seconds earlier.
Wonderful assortment of period trasporters, race cars and spectators in the background.
