The grid forming up for the bizarre rain-affexted British Touring Car race (round 11) at Mallory in 1971 with the Broadspeed Escort Mk1 RS1600s of John Fitzpatrick on pole from of Brian Miur's Wiggins Teape sponsored Chevrolet Camaro and John Bloomfield's Escort RS1600 - Dennis Leech Mustang has failed to appear in his slot on row two, the other two cars are Willie Kay and Zekia Redjep, both in Escort's. Only 5 cars started this race and 4 finished. Leech joined in after a few laps and was black flagged!
