Very rare and much sought after book on racing car transporters (trucks, converted coaches, vans, even trailers) used over many decades. The earliest here are from the 1920s/30s era and the latest in the 1990s.
392 landscape format pages, 550 photo, most of which are previously unpublished and quite a lot came from our own archives , so we are quite fond of this book!
You see examples of this listed up around the £700-£800 mark in some places .The book is in fine clean condition, the jacket has a crease to the back cover (see image) which gives the impression it's actually a production flaw from the printing process. Minor edge and corner wear from a decade and more on the shelf. Not faded . Due to the jacket issue is being offered at more reasonable price.
