1997 HARDBACK Containing features written by the late great Denis Jenkinson (DSJ of MOTOR SPORT magazine) on all manner of motor sport related subjects of literally all eras. These writings first featured in his  BRDC newsletter column , which had very limited circultation at the time, the BRDC being a rather exclusive organization, so when Jenks died, they were issued in this book for all his counteless non-BRDC-member admirers to enjoy.

Among the items are a Christmas day 'raod test' of an F2 Lotus 12...on public roads, on trade plates..., driving across Europe in a Lotus Europa to report the Targa Florio in Sicily, test driving a Turbocharged Renault F1 car, watching Tony Brooks win the 1955 Syracuse GP etc.

The book also contains his epic first hand account of riding with Moss on the 1955 Mille Miglia as his navigator, winning the event after a 10 hour single handed drive at almost 100mph average for over 10 hours!

Wonderful sruff. They don't make them like Jenks any more...in fact they didn't make any like him before!

This book is now very very sought after as no other biography of the little fella has been produced !

226 pages hardback.

Fine book and fine jacket with just a little shelf wear along top edge.
