The 1957 Pescara Grand Prix - featuring a circuit longer than the Nurburgring, on closed Italian roads, an entry that included  Maserati 250Fs, Vanwalls and Coopers driven by the likes of  Moss, Fangio , Brooks Salvadori, Musso, Brabham &, Bonnier... Acclaimed author Richard Williams recalls this 'end of an era' event on the Adriatic coast in it's one and only runningas a round of the F1 World Championship.

Drawing on first hand recollection from those present (sadly almost all no longer with us) and setting the event in it's proper context, Williams brings to life a lost world

152 pages plus many fine photos including Winner, Stirling Moss 'necking' a Vino Bottle during a pit stop,  The book has a minor area of water staining on the top outer corners on the first dozen pages or so. Otherwise aside from a little foxing on the outer page edges  it and the  jacket are in very good condition
