Nice 10x7 inch (250x175mm) print from an original amateur period negative of  Hamish Weir in his  MG K3 (chassis K3021) at Bo'Ness Hillclimb in 1937.

Weir won the 1100cc at the September event  (not sure if this is the September event, he also appeared there in May). After the war he raced at Gransden Lodge, the first British race meeting to be held since the war in June 1946. He also entered and MG K3 (presumably this one)  for Peter Monkhouse to drive in various voiturette Grands prix including Rhiems and Lyon in 1947.

Bo'Ness was a popular Scottish hillclimb event up the driveway at Kiniel House and ran from the 30s to the 60s when the upper section of the hill was built on and the venue lost to motor sport untill it's revival in 2008.
