The Title you may think is not very imaginative, but remember, when this was written there really was not much available on the subject. Sammy Davis was a Great Driver & a Great Journalist & skilled Artist, writing his columns for the weekly Motoring Press. He sets out in this book to give the early history of the Sport, before moving on to his own exploits, including his fine win at Le Mans in the sole surviving, but badly damaged Bentley following the infamous 'White House' crash. Over 300 pages, plus fine photos & Sammy's own cartoon illustrations make this book a classic. Good condition , slightly grimy looking and no jacket but pretty respectable for it's age.
