Lavishly illustrated boigraphy of the English Grand Prix racing driver who's career was, like so many, interrupted by the war. Mostly famous for racing ERAs in the late 40s and early 50s, Gerard was also a versitile driver of Frazer Nash & Riley sports cars. Cooper 500cc F3, Cooper Bristol F2 and Connaught F1 cars before becoming a noted entrant for other driver in the 60s and 70s.
