Memoirs of pioneer Australian-born motorist, racing driver and co founder of Napier cars. Most famous for winning the 1902 Gordon Bennett race and later setting a 24 hour speed record on the newly built Brooklands track (both aboard Napiers of course) Edge was later the owner of AC cars untill it's demise in the 'crash' of 1929 and one of the early exponants of motor boating .
272 pages. 1934 first edition with rag-edge pages (so popular with publishers of the day) this example had no jacket and a small mark on the front cover cloth (see photo) which also has some notable wear along the edges . The text pages are foxed in places but overall a good example of a rare book.
