Description

1951. 184 pages with an abundance of photos. Much on the Monte Carlo Rally, plus Alpine Trials and Veteran Car Runs, Trials (big news back in the day) and so forth. The author was a Le Mans winner in 1927 for Bentley and regular competitor in all kinds of motor sport from the 20s to the 50s as well as being a staff writer on THE AUTOCAR . The book is in very good condition for it's age and has a jacket won at the corners and with a scuff mark down the centre on the front and a small areas where the top layer of print is lost (BY the R of RALLIES)
