Roland Pike Story: Motor Cycle Racing in teh Golden Age : The (Pike, Hodinott 1986)

Rare autobiography of motorcycle road racing great of the 1930s-50s who also engineered his own bikes, built and won with various 'specials'  and became chief development engineer at BSA on the Gold Star - at which this volume, intended to be the first of two, stops. Sadly Volume 2 never appeared so the story stops in 1952! 
However it's a rare item and much sough after. 124 pages. Hardback in very good clean condition apart from  a 5cm closed tear on the top edge of the back of the jacket
