Undated, but circa late '20's/early thirties. Delightful Little book produced by Rudge Whitworth Ltd to promote their MotorCycles and give good advice to the rider and his wife/family on how to get the best from it, along with Side-Car and Living Caravan (Also of Rudge Manufacture). It was capable of all the small car could do and more and at much ess cost. What to look for on your trips in the way of nature, weather & architecture, you would be closer to the elements, rather than looking out of the window of a mobile box. A lot of truth in all this and many would chose this in favour of 4 wheels, in those happy, heady summer day's before the Black Clouds of War changed our land forever. 124pp of text and photo, a most unusual, yet thoughly nostalgic book that any Rudge owner of today will delight at, yet any Motor Cyclist will equally marvel at. The book is Clothbound with a press-stud fastener, typical of these quality publications of the time. In good condition given it's age.
