 2005  autobiography of the wealthy motor racing fanatic who used his self-made fortune to re-open the long-closed  Donington Park circuit , to amass the worlds largest collection of racing cars which he then housed at the track. He also ran a private Grand Prix team for his protege Roger Williamson (sadly killed in only his second race in 1973) and Derek Bell (for whom he almost won the European F2 title) .
All this from humble beginnings and war service which was 'interesting' to put it mildly!!!!!

 Huge character, very much larger-than-life, much missed since his death a couple of years ago. A genuine one-off
