The well known motoring/motor sporting personality Charles Mortimer looks back , as the subtitle says on "A Lifetime in Harmony With Cars, Bikes and Motorsport", as a competitor in the 1920s and 30s at venues such as Brooklands with. among others things, a Grand Prix Bugatti, & then after hostilties at Goodwood , Silverstone & so forth racing a Grand Prix Maserati, Healey Silverstone (shared with his wife Jean) etc. He was very involved in classic car dealing with many amazing vehilces passing through his hands including the Barnato 'Blue Train' Bentley coupe. He wasn author of several books and In later years he became one of the first of the Specialist Motoring Book dealers.His son Chas became a TT rider and a world motorcycle champion in the 1970s. A great chap, with many tales to tell 143 pages, Book has a little bit of warping in the text pages , but generally it and it's jacket are in very good condition
